Discover their journey from junior to senior project engineer within sterilization validation.

Startup at Advipro

Eva:

Before Advipro, I worked in a totally different sector, so it took some searching before I found my niche. Luckily there were the 'Friday drinks' (now better known as 'Advipro Apero') and the many teambuildings to get to know all colleagues, the demand moments par excellence! The switch of sector was certainly not a problem either, given that numerous training courses are organized within the in-house GxP Academy, immersing you in the world of life sciences in no time.

Yani:

After completing my degree in Drug Development, I started working at. Soon there was a first project waiting for me, in this, Advipro made sure that I was as prepared as possible through their extensive training program and professional guidance from the experienced colleagues.

The transition from student to employee has been very comfortable for me, thanks to the Advipro A-Team!

Variety, personal growth and building knowledge

Eva:

During the Covid period I started on project as Project Engineer Sterilization Validation. As this was a very busy period I was immediately given a lot of responsibilities, because of this there was a steep growth curve.

Within the project there is a lot of variation in the range of tasks, which is why, after two years, I still really enjoy doing the project. On the one hand, we frequently come into contact with production to perform various tests and on the other hand, this is alternated with a good portion of documentation work. We are challenged in different areas which allows me to grow as a person and gain more self-confidence, a very nice feeling.

The evaluation tool used within Advipro also helps me grow. By concretizing targeted goals, I can work in a focused way on competencies that I consider important.

Yani:

Pretty soon after starting at Advipro, I was allowed to start on a project as a Project Engineer Sterilization Validation. This at one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, which means that the pace is quite high. This allowed me to learn very quickly and a lot in a short period of time. I was trained in a short period of time in different techniques used for sterile productions.

What I like is that we contribute at different stages of the production process and this makes the project very diverse. Through on-the-job training I continuously try to build relevant knowledge and develop myself into an SME of a certain technique.

Advipro colleagues: a close team both on and off the job

Eva:

During my previous projects I always worked closely with Advipro colleagues and I missed that a bit on my current project. Fortunately, this has changed in the last six months and I have welcomed Yani as a colleague on the project. The recruitment went super smoothly, because Yani himself was already very enthusiastic about the project and I didn't have to make much effort to convince both parties!

Yani:

While working on a project, I am lucky to work with Advipro colleague Eva which I find very pleasant. Because of the expertise she was able to build during her career experiences, I could count on a very good support during my first assignments within the sterilization validation team. Besides the project, there are plenty of opportunities to meet up with other Advipro colleagues and get to know new colleagues in a great atmosphere to further inspire and motivate each other.
