3 essential steps
Method development, validation and transfer are 3 essential steps in drug development. First, methods will be developed to evaluate if pharmaceutical products – in particular active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) – meet the expected requirements. Next, the developed methods will be validated, by verifying the efficiency of the method by measuring specific parameters. When the method is approved, it will be transferred from R&D to Quality Control.
